39th Annual Minnesota Christian Ashram At St Paul’s Ev Lutheran Church – October 18th-19th, 2024

By Peter Anderson

The Minnesota Christian Ashram is a treasured time away to grow spiritually and immerse ourselves in prayer and the Word.

The 2024 Minnesota Christian Ashram will be held at St. Paul’s Ev Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.

This year’s Ashram will be in Minneapolis for a Friday evening and all-day Saturday retreat.

We will go home (or wherever you stay when you’re in the city) on Friday night.

All of the elements we look forward to each year will be part of the 2024 Ashram – evangelist hour, Bible teaching, prayer groups, healing service, music, and more.  And, of course, the fellowship we always look forward to will be there!

The Ashram will be from October 18th to 19th, 2024. Registration for the Minnesota Christian Ashram can be sent in up until October 14th. Cost is $7 per person and can be paid at the Ashram.

The Ashram begins promptly at 7 pm on Friday and runs until 9pm. Saturday will run from 9am to 4:30pm.

Speakers And Leaders For The 2024 Ashram

The speakers for the 2024 Minnesota Christian Ashram will be old friends as J.T. Adkins and Matt Henson join us to experience, as Stanley Jones called it, “The Kingdom of God in Miniature”.

Judy Madsen

Director – Judy Madsen: Judy Madsen, Director of the Minnesota Christian Ashram, is a retired elementary teacher from the Minneapolis Public Schools and became director in August 2005. She and her husband John, their two sons, her parents, her siblings, and their families have been part of the Minnesota Christian Ashram since it began in 1985. Because the Ashram has been such a source of spiritual growth and refreshment for the entire family, Judy is grateful for that rich heritage and wants to share the experience with others.

Evangelist – Matt Henson: Rev. Matt Henson serves as the Associate Director, Member of the Four, and the International Committee Chairperson for the United Christian Ashram International Ministry. Matt also serves as the Executive Director and Lead Evangelist for Living the Adventure Ministries, a ministry he founded in 2007. Matt leads revivals, renewal events, and Christian Ashrams, while also leading teams on mission trips to Haiti, Zimbabwe, India, and domestically in the United States. Matt lives in rural Southern Illinois with his wife, Nancy, and five children (Elijah, Micah, Judah, Isaiah, and Sarafina).

Bible Teacher – J.T. Adkins:  Ministry for J.T. Adkins began in 1999 when he left Louisiana at 18 and joined a dramatic ministry that took him all around the nation and Canada spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. Both focused on youth and family restoration, he could see multiple generations restored. He has been heavily involved in local church ministry, small group leadership, youth ministry, and traveling evangelism. His true passion is for the love of Jesus to be made famous and he feels that the Christian Ashram is a perfect place for that to happen. He is looking forward to serving in Minnesota.
